Job Title: Business Transformation Data Lead

Salary: £65,000 + Benefits
What you’ll be doing:
Leading on the definition and implementation our Data Governance strategy.
Leading on data governance activities such as the Data Maturity Assessment and advising/supporting internal functional stakeholders to improve their data governance.
Supporting and providing guidance to Data Owners in defining data quality requirements and improvement plans. Ensuring sufficient data quality monitoring practices are in place.
Ensuring that data structures and models are in place to provide a single source of truth for reporting and analytics.
Ensuring that Digital Intelligence are adopting the data framework and standards set out by the Group Data & Analytics Operating Model.
Collaborating with stakeholders throughout the Digital Intelligence landscape to identify their specific Data & Analytics requirements and providing comprehensive support in advancing these opportunities towards tangible benefits realisation.
Owning the relationship with senior data stakeholders across BAE Systems, including Functional Insights Leads and Data & Analytics delivery teams, to ensure our requirements are aligned to the Group strategy.
Elevating the level of control, maturity, and management of data within the Digital Intelligence realm.
Providing thought leadership and subject matter expertise to continually improve how Digital Intelligence manages and utilises its internal business data.
Enabling performance enhancement across the organisation by strategically leveraging our data assets to maximise their value and utility.
Your skills and experiences:
A strong understanding of Data Strategy, Data Governance and Analytics
Proven stakeholder management skills and excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and prioritise effectively
Possesses excellent knowledge of industry best practice data and information management approaches and procedures
Minimum degree level in a numerate subject, with further business/professional experience

The Digital Intelligence Business Transformation team is a dynamic central team within BAE Systems Digital Intelligence which works across all Digital Intelligence and BAE Systems to drive performance improvement across the business, through the delivery and implementation of a range of business transformation programmes. Digital Intelligence is a business which is home to around 4,800 employees with expertise in delivering digital, cyber and intelligence services to both internal and external customers. Digital Intelligence works collaboratively across 16 countries to collect, connect, and understand complex data, so that governments, nation states, armed forces and commercial businesses can unlock digital advantage in the most demanding environments.
