Job title: Quality Leader – Radiography (Technical)

What you’ll be doing:
Technical authority for radiographic testing
Drives improvement and delivers radiography best practice with positive engagement
Produce internal radiographic procedures and review existing documentation
Research new technologies for radiography
Lead radiation protection discussions with colleagues in the department and hold a key role in contingency team for radiation contingency plans
Ensure department personal certification (PCN/CSWIP) is kept up to date and regularly audited to company process
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
PCN Level 3 in RT welds & Castings
Minimum RPS Qualification – Knowledge of IRR 2017
In depth Knowledge and experience of X-ray and Gamma Ray (iridium/Selenium) principles
Desirable:
Experience with applying new technology to working standards
PCN level 3/2 Computed Radiography

The Radiography team:
You will be joining a team of 37 overall members, with 3 Quality Leaders. You will report directly to the Senior Quality Manager. You will also be working with key stakeholders in MOD and work with new technologies.
