What you’ll be doing:
The role will require system performance analysis to ensure that the integrated stores are operating efficiently and effectively. The individual would also be responsible for overseeing the through-life development and delivery of final software products, ensuring that they meet the requirements of the F-35 platform and includes but isn’t limited to:
Capture and maintenance of the Meteor LSZ Design Requirements
LSZ (launch success zone) System Design (Algorythm Description Document) development
Process and fit MBDA weapon performance data using fitting toolsets in-line with contracted accuracy requirements
Analysis of LSZ weapon aiming performance fit
Support BAES & LM software teams during development of the on-board LSZ algorithm including documentation and reviews
Support BAES & LM LSZ algorithm software and system testing
Support to BAES & LM LSZ system integration and validation trial events
Investigation of anomalies and raising change requests as required
Leading interface between primary customers and suppliers (Lockheed Martin, UK MoD, MBDA etc)
Overall, the role requires strong technical skills in software engineering and systems integration, as well as the ability to manage complex development projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Systems engineering and design experience
Requirements / interface specification
Configuration management (e.g. Serena Dimensions, or other similar repositories)
Data Analysis and algorithm development
Desirable
Weapon performance and weapon integration knowledge
Working knowledge of Matlab/Simulink/Linux.

The Software and Digital Services Team:
The Software and Digital Services team are responsible for the delivery and management of systems integration which involves designing, developing, and testing software products that can integrate various systems onto the F-35 platform. This could include the development of performance algorithms that optimize the performance of different software components and systems.
