Job Title: ServiceNow Product Owner

Salary: Up to £90,000 - Depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Acts as Product Owner/Champion for the Service Now product and tributary services
- Manages the full product life cycle to ensure that customer/user needs are met and that financial and other targets are achieved. Selects, adopts, and adapts appropriate product development methods, tools, and techniques
- Uses leadership experience to motivate and optimise the capability of the product team through recognised tools and techniques
- Analyses market and/or user research, feedback, expert opinion, and usage data to understand needs and opportunities. Prioritises product and service requirements, develops product roadmaps and owns the product backlog
- Creates clear trust, accountability and inclusivity within the product team and wider department through enhanced and consistent communication, an un-heightened focus on continuous improvement and a collective objective of developing a positive culture
- Anticipates changes in customer/user needs. Adapts products, and creates product retirement and transitioning plans
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Leadership skills/Business Leader experience
Programme Delivery experience
Product owner experience and background
Experience with implementation of and execution under ITIL process framework, possibly in an environment certified to ISO 20000 standards
Desirable:
A thorough understanding of ITSM process and best practice
Sound understanding of AGILE / SCRUM in practice
Strong technical understanding of ServiceNow implementation across the entire project lifecycle

The ServiceNow product owner is accountable for the operational integrity, maintenance, and development of the ServiceNow enterprise instance including ESC.
