What you’ll be doing:
Develop and mature the PYRAMID Reference Architecture (PRA).
Utilising agile toolsets and methodologies.
Analyse and generate model elements that support the maturation of the PRA Model.
Supervision and support to junior team members.
Assist with the creation of Engineering documents.
Respond to both internal and external queries regarding the PRA in a timely fashion via the approved process.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Proven Model Based Systems Engineering understanding (UML / SysML extension)
Specific / general Mission System domain knowledge would be advantageous.
Working knowledge of the engineering lifecycle.
Desirable:
Experience of using Integrity Modeller Toolset (formerly Artisan) or similar is preferable.
You must be a degree qualified engineer in one of the STEM disciplines or equivalent preferably with a Systems Engineering background.
Experience of Agile methodology supported by the Atlassian toolset would be advantageous.

The PYRAMID Reference Architecture Team:
This is an exciting opportunity is for an experienced Systems Engineer to join the PYRAMID Reference Architecture Team. Working in this role the successful applicant will lead the design and specification of the PYRAMID Reference Architecture for the next generation of Aircraft Mission Systems.This will involve the use of model-based system design techniques to develop the overall architecture including the definition of functional components, creating architectural policies and developing behavioural diagrams.To achieve these tasks both the UML and SysML notations will be used, knowledge of which would be beneficial, however training can be provided as needed.
The successful applicant will also assist in the development of Agile processes used in the team, gain exposure to both safety and security related work and collaborate with other teams across the wider Mission Systems & Software business.
