Job title: Interim Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst – (12 Month FTC)

Salary: Up to £50k depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
Performing threat research to identify threats relevant to BAE Systems, including the collecting, processing, and dissemination of actionable, high fidelity threat intelligence
Identifying current tactics, techniques & procedures (TTPs) and Indicators of Compromise and disseminate to appropriate stakeholders and technologies for action
Identifying and recommending improvements to BAE Systems security posture and to Cyber Operations across People, Process and Technology
Delivering threat assessments and threat modelling to help with the identification and management of cyber risk
Mentoring and training team members across Cyber Operations in the use and adoption of threat intelligence
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
Understanding of cyber threat intelligence techniques and best practice
Good knowledge of cyber threat landscape, current affairs, and geopolitics, including activity groups and how to apply this knowledge within an operational environment
Understanding of Threat Intelligence Platforms and coordination of ATP and TTPs to support Cyber Operations
Understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework
Knowledge of network protocols such as HTTP(S), SMTP, TCP, SSL/TLS
Desirable:
CREST & GIAC qualifications or equivalent OR equivalent proven industry experience

The Cyber Operations Team:
