If you share our values and want to be a part of a successful, dynamic, and creative global business then we want to hear from you.

The Opportunity:

We're looking for an enthusiastic, articulate marketer with sharp copywriting instincts and a solid grasp of core marketing principles; someone who can take a good idea and help turn it into a campaign that sells tickets. You'll join our Motoring Portfolio as Marketing Executive, taking a hands-on role in the campaigns behind three premier shows:

  • Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show
- the UK's biggest classic car show and the world's largest gathering of vehicle clubs

  • Practical Classics Classic Car& Restoration Show
- the UK's biggest event dedicated to restoring, maintaining and preserving classic cars.

  • Race Retro – The Motorsport Show
- the UK's pre-season home for circuit racing, rallying and club motorsport, bringing together racing drivers and enthusiasts alike.

The scale of this portfolio for ‘best in market’ events covers over 150,000 sqm of gross floor space, showcases around 4,500 vehicles, hosts 1,300 exhibitors and 380 vehicle clubs, and welcomes more than 110,000 visitors a year.

About the Shows

Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show: We are the UK's largest indoor car show, held annually at the NEC Birmingham. This year's show runs from 13 to 15 November 2026, spanning seven halls with 320+ vehicle clubs and over 3,000 classic vehicles on display. The show regularly welcomes TV celebrities such as Richard Hammond and celebrates the heritage and culture of classic motoring.

Practical Classics Classic Car& Restoration Show: We are the UK's biggest 'season opener' show, covering everything to do with restoring and maintaining a classic car, from expert advice to the parts and tools needed to get the job done. For many owners, it's the first stop of the year when planning their next project or getting their classic ready for the summer season.

Race Retro:We are the UK's only pre-season event combining live rally action, top motorsport brands, iconic race cars and interviews with motorsport legends. A different crowd again, drawn by competition and speed as much as motorsport history.

The Candidate:

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, articulate and dedicated Marketing Executive to assist the Campaign Manager to support and deliver a highly focused and powerful marketing campaign across multiple events. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the marketing disciplines, marketing experience, event industry, as well as good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work well in a fast paced environment are essential. The candidate will also be comfortable writing and briefing in a strong, specific brand voice rather than generic event marketing copy. Digital marketing experience is a benefit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the organisation and implementation of multi-channel promotional activities.

  • Work closely with the in-house design team to create artwork in line with event branding.

  • Write copy to a high standard in line with developed event branding, tone of voice and messaging, including newsletters, web and campaign copy.

  • Support delivery of paid digital campaigns across Meta, Google and TikTok, including budget assistance and optimising performance to drive ticket sales.

  • Build and implement targeted email campaigns, automation and segmentation through Pardot.

  • Maintain event websites and contribute to their ongoing development, conversion rate optimisation and SEO.

  • Implement organic and paid social media campaigns, utilising the full functionality of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other channels to grow followers and drive reach.

  • Collaborate with the in-house video editor to produce organic social content, including short-form video for TikTok and YouTube Shorts.

  • Administer processes to comply with the data strategy and implementation of Direct Marketing, liaising with Marketing Operations to support data collection, analysis and reporting.

  • Develop and maintain systems and processes for Exhibitor and Car Club marketing assets and communications, Pardot analysis, ticket reporting and GA/digital reporting.

  • Build and maintain relationships with official partners and media partners, supporting joint marketing activity and co-branded content.

  • Manage the show's general inbox, acting as first point of contact to maintain strong relationships with visitors, clubs and exhibitors.

  • Support the Campaign Manager in the market intelligence gathering process.

  • Provide the Campaign Manager with ongoing and comprehensive post-campaign reports and recommendations for future improvement.

  • Support onsite marketing and visitor experience delivery during the live shows.

  • Remain up to date with the latest communications tools and continuously assess their deployment to improve marketing effectiveness, especially digital.
