At Clarion, our people are at the absolute heart of what we do. We’re proud that our core values ofPASSION,CARE,IMAGINATION, andTRUSTdefine the way we carry out our work across all of our teams.

If you share our values and want to be a part of a successful, dynamic, and creative global business then we want to hear from you.

The Opportunity:

Clarion’s Digital Marketing Division is home to market-leading brands including Affiliate Summit and Creator Economy Live. We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious content or production professional to take full ownership of Creator Economy Live – the definitive influencer marketing event for brands, which has grown 25%+ year-over-year since its 2023 launch – while also leading content strategy across the wider Digital Marketing portfolio.

Reporting to the Portfolio Director, you’ll manage the P&L, growth strategy and content direction for Creator Economy Live, and act as Head of Content for the division, leading a team of content producers and shaping the programmes across both Creator Economy Live and Affiliate Summit.

Affiliate Summit hosts the world’s premier affiliate marketing events (East and West), drawing thousands of global attendees who are shaping the future of performance marketing. Together, our events break the traditional conference mould – bringing together mass media publishers, affiliates, SMEs, bloggers, influencers, content creators and enterprise brands.

As consumer behaviours evolve and everybody is now shopping online, our events continue to grow at double-digit rates. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to step up into their first show-leadership role, owning the P&L for a fast-growing brand while shaping content strategy across the portfolio.

The candidate:

The ideal candidate is an experienced content or production lead, ready to take the next step into show leadership and P&L ownership. You’ll combine strong commercial instincts with a genuine passion for content, and be comfortable balancing the demands of running a business with shaping an industry-leading programme. This role includes managing the production team, so some prior leadership experience is important, though we welcome candidates ready to grow into people management.

Key Responsibilities:

Creator Economy Live – P&L& Strategy

  • Own the profit and loss performance of Creator Economy Live, including budgeting, forecasting and commercial decision-making

  • Lead the growth strategy for the show, identifying new revenue streams, audience segments and opportunities to scale.

  • Shape the overall show strategy and value proposition, using market research, customer insight and competitor analysis to keep Creator Economy Live ahead of the market.

  • Project manage live event delivery, bringing together marketing, customer success, sales and operations to ensure a successful event.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers and prospects who are strategically important to the brand.

Content& Programme (Head of Content)

  • Shape the Creator Economy Live content programme, identifying leading-edge, commercially-minded and educational themes.

  • Identify and recruit keynote and headline speakers for Creator Economy Live and Affiliate Summit

  • Act as Head of Content for the wider Digital Marketing portfolio, overseeing content strategy and quality across live and digital channels.

  • Lead and manage a team of 2 x producers – implement and uphold best practice and process. Use customer insights and data to inform content strategy and future initiatives.

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, customer success and operations

  • Monitor strengths and weaknesses in the competitive landscape and identify USPs for our events and digital products.

Knowledge, Skills& Behaviours:

  • Experience producing or directing conferences or exhibitions, ideally with exposure to P&L or budget management.

  • Experience recruiting and working with high-profile speakers and industry players.

  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking, with the ability to balance revenue growth with content quality.

  • Some experience managing or mentoring others, or clear readiness to step into people management.

  • Digital content curation and creation skills.

  • Tech literate – able to pick up new platforms quickly.

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about digital marketing, influencer marketing and the creator economy.

  • Great at forming meaningful, long-lasting relationships with industry players.

  • Experience working in the North American events market (desirable, not essential).

  • Experience working on both launch and established events.

  • Demonstrates a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

  • Curious, humble, with a relentless will to improve.

  • Customer-centric and feedback-obsessed.
