At Crown Perth, we are passionate about what we do and that’s what creates memorable experiences for our guests. Dressed in your freshly laundered chef whites, you will have the opportunity to study Commercial Cookery whilst rotating through at least six different kitchens during your 3 year apprenticeship. Working together with your kitchen and front of house team, you will be able to learn culinary skills whilst been guided by the expertise of our Senior Chefs along with the support of our dedicated Apprentice Chef Coordinator.
Our Apprenticeship offers you:
- A dedicated Apprentice Chef coordinator to offer support and mentorship
- Exposure to at least 6 different kitchens during your apprenticeship which may include Atrium, Epicurean, Modo Mio, The Merrywell, Nobu, Banquets and Bistro Guillaume
- Workshops with some of our most recognised and talented Chef de Cuisines
- Four days at Crown Perth in the kitchen and one paid day at TAFE per week (TAFE is paid for by Crown Perth – you are just required to purchase textbooks, knife kit & safety shoes)
- Chef whites provided, laundered for every shift
- Free meals and free parking
- Discounts across Crown Perth’s facilities including Crown restaurants and Crown hotels
About you:
- A real passion and dedication for food & cooking
- Eagerness to learn and be committed to a 3 year Apprenticeship with Crown
- Excellent communication skills along with ability to follow direction and instructions
- Available to work a 24/7 rotating roster
If successful for the role, your start date will be 24th June 2022 for official induction.
