The Role

Procurement's role is to support Deliveroo in the delivery of increased profit and growth through a well managed and sustainable supplier base.

Reporting to the Head of Category, the role of Procurement Manager offers a rare opportunity to be a part of one of the fastest growing tech startups at a very exciting stage. You will support the build of our procurement function from a small but team; to a department responsible for circa £650m of spend. Our Procurement team operates on a hybrid model, which means that employees are required to come into the office twice a week. Our office is located in London, specifically on Cannon Street.

What you'll do

This is a Global role, operating from London HQ, which would involve multiple activity, including:

  • Manage sub-categories of spend, responsible for defining and aligning strategies and execution across important partners,
  • Manage important supplier relationships and lead on negotiations to secure the best possible value for money for Deliveroo
  • Manage company partner engagement and communications with suppliers
  • Contribute to the development of supplier relationship management across the business
  • Support improvement and delivery of Deliveroo's ESG goals through identification and research into potential new suppliers
  • Analysis and monitoring of 3rd party spend and contract status across the categories
  • Manage third-party risk in your category
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a source to pay process

What do you need to bring to the table?

  • 5+ years experience in related procurement roles
  • An, and become a trusted advisor to the business
  • With and a ability to create new ideas to lead value across the group
  • Interpret complex data from multiple sources and at pace
  • Inquisitive with experience in solving complex problems

Desirable:

  • Degree qualified
  • MCIPs qualified or working towards
  • Experienced working in (or with) startups

Your Role Specific Experience (desirable):

  • 3+ years experience in property, services and fit out
  • Knowledge of buying utilities including risk management methods
  • Experience in nearshore v offshore analysis and execution.
