Who are we looking for?

Our interview process consists of:

  • 15-minute phone call to discuss the role and learn more about why you are interested in working with us.
  • 60-minute Teams meeting with two Team Members to discuss your high-level technical skills, problem-solving approaches, and relevant engineering topics.
  • 60-minute Teams meeting with two Team Members to discuss collaboration, culture, and professional growth.
  • 50-minute Teams meeting with Exa's Coach to discuss team dynamics, self-management, and insights from a voluntary Enneagram assessment. 
  • 25-minute Teams meeting with Exa's Co-Founders to provide additional context about the Company and ensure mutual alignment before finalizing a hiring decision.

During the interview process, you'll meet numerous people. The team gets to know you--and you'll get to know us. We encourage candid discussion and welcome direct questions from you.

We're committed to being flexible in our scheduling and will notify candidates of their progress in the process within 72-hours of an interview. We will provide feedback upon request to candidates who participate in stage two and beyond of our interview process.
