Motor Finance & Leasing (MFL) is a key part of the Retail Bank, the largest division in Lloyds Banking Group. We help our customers by fulfilling their mobility needs through Lex Autolease, Black Horse and Online Car Finance (OCF). We strive to deliver customer service excellence that responds to constantly evolving customer needs.
You'll join us as a Pricing Manager, at the forefront of our Black Horse and Lex Autolease brands. You'll understand and optimise our lending profitability, develop pricing strategies for new customers, and provide analysis, tool and process enhancements. There'll also be scope to get involved with a wider range of initiatives, including honing future strategies for Rate for Risk, developing the automation of pricing for dealer segments, and establishing volume and margin plans alongside our finance business partners.
Working closely with colleagues from Finance, Distribution, Credit Risk, and Operations to build robust pricing and profitability capability, you'll draw up effective proposals to share with the MF&L Head of Commercial Insight.
Accountabilities will include:
Monitoring existing pricing deals to ensure performance is as expected
Crafting new pricing proposals in conjunction with the sales teams, providing well-considered challenge, to ensure optimum returns are achieved
Supporting the pricing governance process, using your expertise and judgement to help shape decision making
Improving overall pricing processes through automation, improved MI provision and up to date modelling.
Working in partnership with others will be key - you'll collaborate closely with colleagues to encourage and maintain best practise. And you'll work alongside Finance and Risk teams to ensure pricing remains in line with the financial and risk goals of the overall business.
The role is flexible in location terms, and can be based from our London, Edinburgh, Cardiff or Stockport office. As a team we follow a hybrid working model, combining working from home with travel to our offices.
About you
You'll enjoy working in a dynamic environment and are looking for opportunities to hone and develop your capabilities, both from a pricing and a relationship management perspective, whilst utilising your broad range of analytical skills.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Significant experience in an analytical role within Financial Services, or similar commercial sector
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Accustomed to stakeholder management in the workplace, up to senior level
Well-honed written and verbal communication skills, with audiences at all levels of the work hierarchy.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Previous experience of pricing within Financial Services or similar commercial sector would be advantageous but isn't essential
Prior exposure to SQL, SAS or similar would be an advantage, but can be learnt on the job.
