So, what's the role about?
An opportunity has arisen to join the team in the role of Data Control Assistant Manager for Rectifications. In our team we champion the customer and putting things right for them when they've gone wrong. We have a proven focus on good governance and robust quality frameworks to deliver our rectifications safely.
You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering the end to end Data Control solution for customer rectifications, you will use your expertise in coding, testing and data analysis to validate that our customers are receiving the right outcome. You will share findings and lessons learnt with key stakeholders helping Customer Resolutions to delivery on our goals.
The ideal candidate will have a mix of transferable skills and experience in Data, maybe gained from previous roles like data analytics, testing background or using our Group data warehouse. This is an exciting time to join us as we continue to grow and innovate our ways of working, and you will have a real opportunity to shape the data control practices for the future.
You'll be supporting several rectifications at a time and need to be able to demonstrate a desire to develop as we’ll give you space to learn and collaborate with opportunities to innovate and test new ideas.

Your accountabilities will include:
- Collaboration with Retail Stakeholders throughout the rectification lifecycle demonstrating rectification capabilities to support wider AE portfolio and landscape, including emerging events and potential rectifications.
- Delivering the end-to-end Data Control activity of individual rectifications.
- Seeing opportunities to accelerate and simplify the Data Control Framework whilst maintaining a customer centric approach. This will also include working with our colleagues in Data Engineering and Design and Delivery teams to use existing standard methodologies and support reusability of any new solutions.
- Robust rectification planning with early visibility of risks and identification of solutions to mitigate or minimise those risks.
The essential skills we're looking for include:
- Proficient in SQL and / or SAS with the ability to validate, query and create datasets using code.
- High levels of attention to detail, ensuring information is accurate and logical, aligned with ability to quickly identify and assess key issues.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple priorities.
- Ability to organise and run several key pieces of work simultaneously and at pace, whilst maintaining high standards and setting expectations with stakeholders
- Experienced at communicating with senior colleagues and being able to build strong, collaborative relationships.
- Knowledge of Risk, Compliance & Regulatory Management processes
What we would like to see (but not essential):
- Group Data Warehouse (Teradata) experience
- Redress and Rectifications experience
- Knowledge of LBG data platforms (incl. OCIS)
