Are you an experienced DevOps Engineer looking for your next challenge? Then join our team who work in the Asset Management and Private Markets space and take part in a number of ongoing initiatives within the Technology team to support the business as they go through a transformational change.
You’ll work closely with the business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions that leverage different systems and technologies to meet business needs. In addition to working with the immediate team, you will be liaising regularly with the other teams in the wider Macquarie Technology group to maintain infrastructure, cybersecurity, and other aspects of our core systems. You’ll build and support the applications, whilst maturing our DevOps capability.
This role is well suited for a strong developer who enjoys working closely with business users and handling multiple queries.
You’ll ideally have experience with:
- Proven experience in Python
- Oracle databases
- Knowledge of CI/CD.
- Prior experience with technologies such as APIs and AWS Cloud will be highly beneficial to your success in this role.
It would also be a bonus if you have:
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture
- Database experience using SQL and RDMS
