Join our Green Investment Group as a highly motivated administrative assistant to help the Group support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy. This is a London-based role. You will support the Fleete Office Manager in the set-up of Fleete, a new electrical vehicle infrastructure business that has been launched by Macquarie Asset Management’s Green Investment Group.
In this demanding and fast-paced role, you will bring a positive, confident and proactive approach. Reporting to the Fleete Office Manager, you will take responsibility for a wide range of administrative activities, get things out the door efficiently and manage shifting priorities.
Your role will include (but not be limited to) the following key activities:
- Accounts payable duties (e.g. set up suppliers, process expenses, raise purchase orders, process invoices);
- General marketing support (e.g. manage contacts database, manage events invitations, book travel); and
- General office support (e.g. assist with supplier onboarding forms, assist with office related procurement, organise internal meetings, book meeting rooms).
While this is a 6-month contract role, we are putting incredible focus into building a high-performance culture so there will be the opportunity for the right candidate to progress to a range of permanent roles within Fleete that you would love to do (from Accounts Payable to Marketing to Office support roles among others).
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and proactive approach, with excellent attention to detail and follow through;
- Be resourceful and have the ability to work independently as well as within a team;
- Thrive in a dynamic business where accuracy and flexibility are imperative;
- Microsoft Office suite experience; and
- Excellent communication skills (language skills desirable).
You will thrive in this role if you are a motivated team player who enjoys working closely with others, you flourish in a fast-paced working environment, and you have the drive to succeed.
Transfer within EV Business
The role would initially sit within Macquarie Asset Management’s Green Investment Group. We anticipate that during the contract your employment may transfer to Fleete, the company which has been incorporated to house GIG’s European EV Platform. Fleete is a charging infrastructure and services provider for operators of electric commercial vehicles. Fleete’s turnkey charging-as-a-service model helps customers get their electric fleet on the road and keep them driving, 24/7, 365 days a year. Fleete ensures that the transition to electric fleets is as economic, efficient and easy as possible. The Employer will provide information to you regarding the terms of that transfer in due course.
