We are looking for a highly motivated Office Manager to join our London-based global battery energy storage business where we develop, build and actively manage large scale battery storage systems to help accelerate the growth of renewable energy and the transition to a low carbon economy. This is a hybrid role, where you will be responsible for establishing and managing the physical office environment as well as providing administrative support to the wider business when required.

In this role you will work closely with CEO in the region on initiatives and ensure that the office runs efficiently. You will become a key point of contact for the team and any ad hoc queries that arise.

You will be responsible for managing the office environment and our outsourced service providers engaged to fulfill duties such as IT, Cleaning, travel and general office consumables. You will ensure the office is a pleasant, safe and enjoyable place to work and visit, adding your own element of fun and energy.

You will also be responsible for managing the onboarding process for all new members of staff joining Eku and will undertake the transfer and leaver process working closely with the Head of HR and hiring managers to ensure all details are correct.

In this role you will have a proactive approach, always thinking ahead to avoid potential conflicts. You will prioritize and respond quickly to requests and identify areas where processes can be improved and driving change.

You will bring to the team previous experience in a similar role, within similar client focused organizations. You should be confident working with senior-level colleagues across different offices and should have exceptional communications skills.

Having excellent time-management and organizational skills will be essential for this role. Solid skills in Word, Powerpoint and Outlook will be required, experience in organizing events is desired. At times, you will need to manage conflicting priorities, so the ability to multi-task and remain detail orientated whilst working in a fast-paced environment will also be crucial. You will have a positive, proactive attitude and enjoy working with a diverse team.
