Are you interested in investing in global equities? Do you want to experience what is like to be part of a talented global team?
An exciting 7-week internship opportunity exists for a motivated, high performing student who wishes to acquire an understanding of the daily work of an asset manager and gain experience in finance, global equities, and ESG. Join Macquarie Asset Management in London, Vienna, and Luxembourg in June and July of 2023.
You will:
- Gain professional and personal experience in a dynamic environment
- Gain practical knowledge in your field of study
- Learn about investing and working in the finance industry
- Explore the evolving field of ESG

The first week you will receive training and participate in networking events in London and afterwards, you will be working closely with our investment teams in Vienna and Luxembourg. You will be engaged in various facets, including the review and execution of investment opportunities, financial analysis and modelling, and preparation of presentation materials. You will also support the ESG activities of equity investing, assisting with operational and portfolio management work. A buddy and manager structure will be in place as well as a formal review process at the middle and end of the programme.
At Macquarie, we look for innovative, driven, and talented students who share our drive for excellence. You must be enrolled in a course at an institute of higher education. Applicants will be judged on eligibility, past academic performance, relevant academic study, and work experience. A panel makes the final selection of candidates.
