Exciting opportunity to join our Commodities and Global Markets’ Regulatory Compliance team where you will actively participate in the implementation of a consistent compliance approach and framework in providing compliance advice and regulatory change coverage focused on a variety of different regulatory initiatives that may affect our businesses.
In this role you will be responsible for keeping up to date on all applicable regulations and involved as required, in the implementation of new/updated regulations impacting derivatives and other financial products.
You will also be responsible for working with relevant business and support groups to effectively perform the regulatory compliance testing of applicable rules through lifecycle and targeted testing and the reporting of test results to senior management. You will work with others to assist with their establishment of implementation plans for the remediation of identified compliance gaps as required, track remediation plans for issues, monitor the completion schedule, as well as undertake and document post remediation reviews aimed to assess effectiveness of implemented fixes to significant issues.
You will provide updates and track any potential instances of material non-compliance with applicable rules, policies and procedures. Additionally, you will provide first line advice regarding incidents and issues identified through testing and collaborate with the relevant people to record matters in the appropriate internal systems.
You will participate in industry-wide and internal firm calls to monitor regulatory activity and industry based best practices.
