MAM - FP&A Senior Manager – 6 month contract
An opportunity has arisen to join the Global Financial Planning and Analysis team within Macquarie Asset Management for a 6 month contract. Our Asset Management group, which comprise of Macquarie Private Markets and Macquarie Public Investments, is a full-service asset manager, providing clients with access to a diverse range of capabilities and products including infrastructure, real assets, green investments, equities, fixed income, liquid alternatives and multi-asset investment management solutions.
As a member of the Global Financial Planning & Analysis team, you will provide analysis and insight on the Macquarie Asset Management business. Working with a broad range of stakeholders across the business, you will take accountability for business forecasting, performance analysis, decision support, process improvement and automation.
In this role you will assist with the preparation, analysis and presentation of the group’s forecast, budget, and reporting, as well as a range of ad-hoc support tasks across various initiatives. You will provide support to senior stakeholders across the business and the wider Macquarie Group.
Your technical skills and qualifications will include a tertiary degree in Accounting and Finance or similar as well as a CA (or equivalent) designation. You’ll also have 6-10 years’ experience in a large, complex organisation. Outstanding communication skills and strong relationship management skills are a must, as is a well-developed attention to detail with capacity to appreciate the “big picture”. Prior experience working in an analytical role in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities will be imperative.
