Join our European Gas and Power team as a Structuring Analyst in London. In this role, you will work alongside sales and trading to value and structure complex transactions. You will contribute to the business’ bottom line by building ad-hoc spreadsheet tools and assist with larger M&A transactions and pricing other commodities such as LNG, oil, uranium and more. Using your strong analytical and technical skills, you will analyse and calculate various exposures to funding, credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and legal risks and liaise with these teams to get deals approved internally.
This is a highly visible role in one of our rapidly expanding teams that will allow for growth and experience within our dynamic commodities business.
Additional requirements include:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a technical field such Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Three to five years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of derivatives pricing and hedging.
- Proficient in programming languages such as VBA or Python
- Prior structuring or commodities market knowledge is a plus.
