We have an exciting new opportunity in our Commodities and Global Markets business group to work in the client operations data team. This role will be working with a community of data professionals within our Group Data Office. You will work in close partnership with business stakeholders, our Client Operations team, and support groups.
In this role you will be involved in improving the current data processes for client operations tasks as well as working in various CGM Group Data Office projects. This will include automation, guidance and putting processes and data under governance in compliance with the wider EDM policies.
Ideally you will bring the following skills to this role :
- Work within our enterprise data management framework to develop and embed governance practices and discipline for CGM's client data
- Help develop validations and apply new policies to client operations data to achieve high data quality
- Problem solving data quality issues and help create and implement remediation initiatives
- Develop and further enhance data quality dashboards to provide key insights into the client operations data and processes to highlight areas of improvements
- Work with the CGM GDO team to help develop process improvements for new initiatives and document any data changes or requirements as per EDM policies
Your core program/platform knowledge will ideally include:
- University degree preferably in a quantitative subject e.g., engineering, mathematics or finance-2+ years of experience in client data and analytics related areas
- Advanced computer literacy (e.g Excel, SQL)
- Experience with data governance/documentation
The following skills and experience will be highly regarded:
- Knowledge of financial products
- Advanced computer literacy (eg Excel, SQL and Alteryx) and experience with at least one data visualisation tool e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
