Additional Information

Telecoms and Networking Consulting at PA:

We work with clients on some of the telecoms and technology sectors’ most challenging issues, including commercial and technology strategy development, systems and architecture design, network and digital transformation, systems/managed service procurement, and development of innovative and novel products.
We work closely across PA to build multi-disciplinary project teams.

You’ll get to work with experts in disciplines as wide-ranging as strategy, design, operating model, sourcing - and across a wide range of industries, including consumer, energy and utilities, financial services, government, healthcare and telecoms itself, to drive enduring change and create results that make a real difference for our clients.

As a Networks consultant, you will be working on a range of cutting-edge projects that will both challenge and reward, working in a highly collaborative environment. You will work with clients at senior levels on high profile, high impact projects. Each project at PA will be different. You might spend your time gathering and analysing information or delivering presentations and workshops to clients. You will work with clients’ technical experts as well as engaging directly with senior leaders.

The one thing you can be sure of is that our work is important to our clients – they only engage PA when they face challenges, opportunities and issues that they are both critical to their businesses and that they are not confident they can solve properly for themselves. As a result, our work is high-profile and can be challenging – but that also brings a strong element of satisfaction when we deliver brilliant work for them! It’s rewarding to know that what we’re working on what matters most to our clients.

Past projects include:

  • Working with a mobile infrastructure company to prepare a technical and commercial proposal to deliver mobile coverage on an urban transport network and leverage the associated fibre infrastructure for wholesale and broadband services across the city
  • Designing and procuring UK MOD’s future satellite communications services
  • Defining the strategy for next generation mobile communications on the railway
Each project may bring a new client, a new set of problems to solve and a new team to work with – it can be challenging, but new challenges are also exciting and satisfying.
