The Program Manager leads cross-functional teams to drive New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, deliver on go-to-market strategies, and manage the development of an inter-departmental portfolio ensuring alignment on joint business objectives for Eatons Integrated Solutions (EV Charging Infrastructure and Battery Energy Storage Systems). Serving as a central point of coordination across product, finance, IT, engineering, commercial, and operations functions, the Program Manager ensures a standard, integrated NPI process is implemented consistently.

It reports directly to the EVCI Commercial Leader, EMEA, with a functional (dotted-line) reporting relationship to the Energy Transition Manager of Program Management.

The role is available as a remote position across the European Union, with a primary focus on the following countries: United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, the Czech Republic.

Travel rate is up to 20%.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Leadership (50%)

• Ensure effective program management tools and processes are utilized, including the use of Eatons PROLaunch process and agile methodologies.

• Lead the team through uncertainty and ambiguity by establishing program structure, operating cadence, objectives, and performance measurement.

• Lead portfolio prioritization for interdepartmental efforts, managing portfolio-level financials and business impact.

• Maintain accountability for program scope and successful execution within technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.

• Track milestone attainment, program budget, stakeholder alignment, and CTQ deliverables as needed for robust metrics reporting.

• Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Microsoft Project, highlighting interdependencies between teams and holding team members accountable.

• Maintain a robust communications plan, including regular presentations to senior leaders and external stakeholders as the primary program contact; prepare and publish formal program metrics and reports on at least a monthly basis.

• Lead teams in program risk assessment and deployment of sound mitigation strategies; monitor risk and take decisive, early action to resolve any issues.

• Work with functional leaders to secure program resources and escalate any staffing concerns.

• Share PM best practices within the PMO community and mentor other PMs as appropriate.

Commercial Support & Coordination Integrated Solutions (50%)

• Partner with the EMEA EVCI commercial team to coordinate go-to-market execution and cross-functional delivery of Integrated Solutions.

• Bring program discipline to strategic partnerships by coordinating joint roadmaps, deliverables, governance, and commitments with key third parties.

• Support the successful deployment of the first EVCI and BESS projects, ensuring strong coordination across commercial, engineering, supply chain, finance, and external partners.

• Own the transition from sales to execution by translating won opportunities into clear deployment plans, roles, responsibilities, and milestones.

• Act as the central coordination point from project award through customer handover, driving alignment across all stakeholders and managing critical dependencies.

• Track deployment schedules, contractual milestones, project profitability, and change orders to ensure successful project execution.

• Develop, document, and standardize a repeatable order-to-deployment playbook based on lessons learned from early projects.

• Establish scalable processes, governance, templates, and best practices that allow future projects to be delivered through Eaton's standard PMO organization rather than requiring dedicated program management support.

• Continuously capture deployment learnings and feed them back into product development, offers, deployment processes, and customer experience improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in program and project management, including the application of program governance methodologies, processes, and tools.

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading New Product Development (NPD) / New Product Introduction (NPI) programs within a structured stage-gate environment.

• Experience in one or more of Eaton's Integrated Solutions domains, including power distribution equipment, EV charging infrastructure, and/or battery energy storage systems (BESS).

• Comfortable working within a technical environment and coordinating across engineering, product management, operations, commercial, supply chain, finance, IT, and external partner organizations.

• Able to understand sufficient technical detail to facilitate discussions, identify dependencies, clarify ownership, manage risks, and drive decisions without acting as the technical design authority.

• General understanding of the Energy Transition ecosystem, including EV charging infrastructure, battery energy storage systems, power distribution, grid connection constraints, and customer deployment challenges.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate complex cross-functional discussions that require alignment of technical, commercial, operational, and customer requirements.

• Solid understanding of the diversity of European markets, including local regulations, grid connection processes, certification requirements, customer expectations, and deployment considerations.

• Ability to translate technical and commercial inputs into clear program plans, milestones, risks, mitigation actions, and executive-level communications.

• Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in environments characterized by ambiguity, complexity, and evolving priorities.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to deliver executive status updates, facilitate stakeholder alignment, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively with customers and senior leadership.

• Proven ability to achieve objectives through collaboration, influence, and cross-functional teamwork.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to process discipline.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance strategic objectives and operational execution.
