We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced site based SHE Manager to join the North West based Sincereal Team.

The right person for this role will have overall functional accountability for Safety Health &Environmental performance of the company, Providing functional leadership for all aspects of SH&E and for all activities of the company.

Sincereal Group is a dynamic and growing company providing private label offers to customers in Europe. With locations in UK and France, our factories complement each other enabling us to provide a wide range of products to our customers. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a new company that is a major, sustainable and competitive player in the growing cereal private label market

Your impact

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Create a compelling understanding of Sincereal SHE values and inspire stakeholders to excel in compliance & continuously improve

  • Identify SHE priorities, current & future challenges, and opportunities for change at site level

  • Guide implementation of the Environmental Management System and SHE Standards

  • Develop and continuously improve site SHE programmes to deliver compliance and performance improvement

  • Ensure the local Safety, Health and Environment management system maintains certification to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 Provide training and coaching to managers and team leaders to help them take ownership, lead and manage SHE within their area of responsibility. Provide personal coaching and support to site Management Team

  • Ensure compliance is regularly audited and performance assessed, and the results used to drive further improvement

  • Engage with external stakeholders (trades unions, local regulators, local communities, and local NGOs) on SHE topics to build long term, positive relationships

Your ingredients for success

To be successful in this role you will youll already have a fantastic breadth of manufacturing SHE experience.

  • Qualifications: Ideally degree educated at a high standard preferably in a technical subject (or equivalent),plus NEBOSH National Diploma in OHS (or equivalent). Env. Mgmt qualification is desirable.

  • Taken ownership of SH&E and drove change through personal leadership.

  • Worked in, and led, cross-functional teams.

  • Worked in operational environment.
