About the role

We are looking for a Scheduler, responsible for the scheduling of fixed plant maintenance activities for our Amrun Mine however you will be based at our Northern operations in Weipa and will travel to Amrun once or twice a week.

Reporting to the Senior Short-Term Planner and working a Monday to Friday roster, you will be:
- Providing adequate Work Management metrics review through the Draft Schedule process
- Providing stakeholder visibility of the draft schedule out to week +2
- Providing visibility of rescheduled work and backlog
- Presenting an achievable schedule for week +1
- Ensuring all mine operational activities are completed in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensuring targets are consistently delivered in a sustainable/ timely manner and with maximum customer satisfaction.
What you will bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Proven scheduling experience in an operational mining environment
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement skills
- Computer literacy including exposure to Microsoft Word and Excel
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Experience on a variety of fixed plant machinery
- Trade background in either Electrical or Mechanical
- Experience with SAP (Work Management Process)
