Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our Process Automation SCADA Operational Support team as Technical Support Engineer.

This role will be based mainly at our Coventry offices, although you will be expected to travel to customer sites, or one of our other Process Automation offices based in the UK.

Your Mission:

You will be responsible for the technical support of customer systems working within our SCADA Operational Support team. Our customer base is varied with a large number of national infrastructure utilities customers within Water and Gas Distribution.

In this role you will work to ensure continued smooth operations for our customers, troubleshoot and diagnose faults in a wide range of areas including ClearSCADA / Geo SCADA software, Outstations (RTUs), Communications (serial, PSTN, network TCP/IP, GSM and mobile data networks), telemetry protocols (DNP3, WITS, Modbus, IEC 60870-5-x, OPC etc), Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory, server and client hardware, Microsoft Azure.
