We’re looking for a skilled and detail‑driven Manufacturing Technician to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the assembly, build, and final preparation of Servomex products, ensuring each unit meets strict quality and technical standards.

This role is a full time, permanent opportunity with a Monday to Friday working pattern, starting at 07.30am – please see schedule below.
About the Opportunity:
- Build Servomex products following standard operating procedures (SOPs), engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Assemble small, delicate components with high precision.
- Fully comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
- Investigate and fault‑find nonconforming products, completing reject documentation and corrective actions.
- Produce, update, and maintain build records and documentation.
- Work under ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control conditions.
About your Talent:
Even if you don’t have all these skills yet, if you’re eager to learn and enjoy working with delicate components, we would still love to hear from you.
- Hands-on experience in electronic, electrical or mechanical assembly would be a distinct advantage.
- Previous assembly experience within an instrumentation or similar technical manufacturing environment would be a great plus.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, techniques and production workflows would be of great interest to us.
- Strong organisation, time management, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Education / Qualifications:
Essential:
- GCSE (or equivalent) Grade 4 (C) or above, in science or engineering-related subjects.
Desirable:
- BTEC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.

Interview process:
- A friendly initial call with our Talent Acquisition team to talk through your application
- An onsite interview where you’ll answer some competency-based questions and take part in a hands-on practical exercise
Location: Crowborough, East Sussex, UK
Crowborough train station is an approximate 10-minute walk from the Servomex site.
Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:15 and Friday 07:30 to 12:30 (38 hours/week)
You will receive appropriate rest and meal breaks as part of a supportive and well‑structured working environment.
Salary range: £27,000 to £29,500
