Description of role:
In June 2023, the Membership and Innovation Directorate and the Global Services Directorate merged into one Directorate: Membership, Innovation & Global Operations Directorate. It is now one of the largest operations in TWI.
One of the remits of the newly established Membership, Innovation and Global Operations Directorate is to grow the engineering projects and solution development business globally through Global Technical Solutions. The Global Technical Solutions (GTS) Manager, will report to the Membership, Innovation and Global Director to grow the Engineering Projects (Onshore & Offshore) as well as Software product & development and ensure it operates efficiently and effectively as one business. Whether the asset is onshore or offshore, we provide technical knowledge, experience and resources to support all aspects of asset integrity management on ageing assets and maintaining operational integrity. The GTS Manager will lead and develop staff and business in the following areas, but not limited to:
- Pipeline integrity
- Fitness for Service (FFS)
- Risk Based Inspection (RBI)
- NDT and inspection
- Failure Investigation
- Corrosion assessment and management
- Numerical modelling and simulations
The role will integrate and grow business and operations across different countries through our offices in the Greece, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, UAE, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. The GTS Manager will work closely with the Product Manager to develop the next generation products and software for engineering asset life assessment with AI and machine learning capabilities. The Manager will also work closely with the finance, legal, IT and compliance teams to ensure the global operations is working within TWIs corporate governance.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Establish and lead the growth of TWI Global Engineering Services as well as solutions development products by setting the business goals & revenue targets globally.
- Develop and achieve strategic business development and operation functions and ensure TWI Technical quality.
- Assure effective delivery of project interventions and deliver specialist consultancy projects globally.
- Develop and maintain close business relationships with clients.
- Champion the compliance and development of the engineering quality and systems.
- Develop, grow and sustain business and industrial membership.
- Identify and support new product development to meet customers’ demands.
Travel:
This position may require regular international travel.
