Your New Role…
The EMEA Talent Acquisition (TA) Sourcing Lead is a critical role within WBD’s TA organization. Your role and wider team are central to the success of the TA business, but equally to the success of WBD. We create the world's greatest content across film, television, sports, news, and games. And creating the world's greatest content means having the world's greatest team.
That’s where you come in. While recruiters are moving quickly to fill our current and most urgent roles, sourcing is looking ahead at what's coming next. We are building relationships with the best, brightest, and most difficult-to-find talent; courting and building their excitement for the WBD brand, and the career-defining work we do. That way, once the right role becomes available, they’re engaged, excited, and ready to go, enabling us to hire the best talent quickly and effectively.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Anchored by our WBD Guiding Principles, you will effectively lead all sourcing efforts across EMEA, working in close partnership with our teammates in TA, P&C, and your business areas, to develop and execute a thoughtful, strategic, data and insights-centered sourcing strategy.
Proactively and consistently seek to learn about our WBD business, our macro-business priorities, and broader industry insights, to better align areas of focus and identify opportunities to add strategic value, coaching your team to do the same.
Connect with top talent quickly and effectively, cultivating strong relationships and an affinity for the WBD brand enabling you to build robust talent pipelines across priority business areas or areas of high growth and/or attrition.
Foster a strategic and data-centric team culture. Partner with TA and business leaders to assess short and long-term talent needs, as well as attrition and growth trends, defining the most effective sourcing strategy.
Establish scalable processes to enable you to deliver against multiple business priorities.
Seek out data, analytics, and insights to better understand your successes, and challenges, remove roadblocks and resolve inefficiencies, and ensure our CRM accurately reflects output.
Partner with the central data and analytics team to create insightful reporting/ dashboards that deliver on the above and enable you to assess your team’s output.
Work closely with Diversity Outreach (DO) Lead, to optimize the effectiveness of our DO strategy - events and community engagement.
Qualifications & Experience…
Although you will be partnering with the wider TA team, this is not a recruiter role - we require a specialist sourcing leader with a proven track record of leading an international sourcing function or being a sourcing lead.
Prior experience building and optimizing talent pools in a CRM tool. Developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of the CRM’s sourcing functionality.
Embodies a ‘doer’ mentality, quick to deconstruct and solve complex sourcing challenges.
Demonstrates a high degree of business acumen, taking an active interest in the WBD macro-business priorities, industry trends, and updates to better align priorities and focus.
Effective communicator - leverages data and analytics to share key insights, influence, and provide value to our partners and business leaders.
Excellent prioritization skills, able to deliver on multiple priorities against tight timelines and evolving business needs, acting with urgency and agility.
Exceptional networking skills, able to connect with top talent quickly and effectively, cultivating strong relationships and an affinity for the WBD brand.
