Your New Role…
Reporting to the Senior People Partner - Tours & Retail, the main purpose of this role is to provide a generalist HR service across the Tours & Retail business; ensuring that WBSTL complies with employment legislation, policies and procedures and operates best practice in all areas of Human Resources.
Your Role Responsibilities…
Be a trusted people partner to Tours & Retail management teams, proactively partnering with them on all people related matters.
Develop close working relationships and understanding of business goals and facilitate people and organisational solutions which support the business effectively.
Support of day-to-day employee relations (ER) issues - sickness absence, misconduct issues & grievances.
Provide daily support in HR general questions and respond in a reasonable timeframe.
Be fully conversant in HR policies.
Support the new starter process including inductions.
Qualifications & Experience…
Proven HR Advisor/People Partner experience within a multi-function area.
Minimum of 2 years operational ER experience.
Extensive ER case management and dispute resolution.
Up to date Employment Law knowledge.
Preferred work experience – Retail, Tour attraction, logistics and distribution, direct to consumer.
Ability to take the initiative, using own discretion and skills and work with limited supervision; discreet and able to treat information within the department as highly confidential.
Able to build good relationships with internal/ external customers and establish credibility quickly.
