Your New Role…
Are you a Harry Potter fan? If so, you’ll love working at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London (WBSTL) – The Making of Harry Potter.
As an Interactor, part of the Show Experience team, you’ll be an ambassador for the Tour by guiding, entertaining and enlightening visitors whilst on their magical journey. You’ll get up close and personal with authentic Props, Sets and Costumes from the Harry Potter films, and share your passion for filmmaking through detailed and engaging storytelling. From delivering exciting, scripted speeches and special effects demonstrations, to providing expert Harry Potter insight, it's your job to make sure that we exceed their expectations at every opportunity and ensure that they have the best possible experience.

Your Role Accountabilities…
Proactively engage and assist with the varied needs of our Visitors by delivering a world class Visitor experience. Anticipate what the Visitors need and be fan obsessed.
Present a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable interface between the Tour itself and all visitors to the Tour, working as an ambassador for both.
Actively listen and lead with empathy, integrity, and transparency.
Proactively seek ways to support your team to work towards the collective goal of exceeding Visitors’ expectations.
Continuously improve your own skills and knowledge in relation to the Franchise, Tour operations and your own personal performance.
Conduct Added Value Tours and assist in Audio Descriptive Tours as required.
Work with the management team to enhance the Show and Visitor experience at every opportunity.
Hold pride for your workspace – keep a safe and tidy working area. Deep cleaning of Sets as required by Management Team.
Adhere to and champion all guidelines and policies in accordance with WBD policies and procedures.
You will be required to stand for up to 5 hours at a time, perform light lifting and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Areas and shows that Interactors perform in contain water-based smoke effects, flashing lights and sudden loud noises; you also will be expected to interact with live show elements such as live actors portraying Death Eaters. Occasionally you will be required to attend communication and training sessions outside of your core working hours. Full training will be provided for successful candidates.
Qualifications & Experience…
Understanding of the Harry Potter film series and filmmaking.
Previous work experience in a customer/visitor facing role, where a strong emphasis was placed on quality of service and/or experience. Previous work on-stage is desirable.
Presentation skills – enthusiasm and ability to speak in public to groups of up to 300 on a microphone. Both scripted elements and improvisation required.
Demonstrable ability to learn new skills and adapt to new situations within a visitor focused environment.
Able to contribute positively and enjoy working effectively as part of a large and varied team.
Great time management with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, busy environment.
Eagerness to exceed expectations and go the extra mile at every opportunity.
Working Pattern…
Contracts range from 16 to 40 hours per week. You will be required to work weekends as part of this working pattern. Weekend work includes both Saturday and Sunday.
Your normal hours of work are between 8am and 10pm over the peak summer period/weekends, and from 8am until 8pm at other times, though some evening event work (finishing at 00:30) is required for events. Shifts outside of these hours can be opted into, and these hours can start as early as 7am.
We provide a free shuttle bus from Watford Junction; however this cannot be relied on if your start/finish time falls outside of our opening hours, therefore you must ensure that you are able to arrange your own travel arrangements to/from work on these occasions.
There are both full-time and part-time positions available.
All working patterns will include weekends and Bank Holidays (those on part-time contracts will work a proportionate number of weekends and bank holidays as those on a full-time contract).

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.How We Get Things Done…
