Your New Role
We are looking for a bold, visionary, and culturally fluent Vice President of Social to lead the creative, strategic and operational direction of Social across EMEA for HBO Max.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of entertainment, marketing and digital culture. You’ll be responsible for building a world-class Social function that drives fandom, cultural relevance and measurable business outcomes. From House of the Dragon and The Last of Us, to DC and the Wizarding World, you’ll shape how our content shows up across platforms and in culture.
Your Role Accountabilities
Strategic & Creative Leadership:
Own the end-to-end Social strategy for HBO Max across EMEA, ensuring alignment with subscriber growth, engagement and retention goals
Translate business and content priorities into breakthrough social campaigns that drive measurable impact - across HBO originals, returning series, local productions, sports and major film titles launching on the platform
Lead the development of platform-native, culturally resonant content that positions our brands at the forefront of entertainment and digital conversation
Champion a social-first mindset across the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) organisation, embedding social thinking into campaign development from the outset
Business Impact & Strategic Ownership:
Drive Social as a core lever for HBO Max growth, connecting content and campaigns to KPIs such as acquisition, retention, brand equity and earned media value
Build and implement a robust measurement framework to track performance, optimise strategy and demonstrate ROI
