Tableau Server Administrator
Would you like to play a key role in defining the strategic road maps of BAE Systems Air Business Intelligence & Analytics Competency Centre (BIACC) as well as developing long lasting customer solutions? We currently have a vacancy for a Tableau Server Administrator at our site in Warton (This role can be based remotely with 2 days per month on site).
As Tableau Server Administrator in the BIACC, you will have ownership for one or more applications used within the Air Sector to deliver Business Intelligence, Analytics and Data Services. You will work with Business Partners to understand their goals and requirements and will help define application features and strategic roadmaps to meet those needs. You will also help build a strong engineering team to define the roadmap, delivering to quality focused development standards.

Your main responsibilities as Tableau Server Administrator will involve:
- Responsible for the configuration, installation and maintaining, Applications, Hardware and Services in support of the (BIACC) including patching
- Keep abreast of and plan for Technology Changes to the Solution Landscape and Technology
- Assist in the development of Systems and Services.
- Working with the Business areas to understand and define requirements.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of quality, scalable and resilient solutions
- Build and own solutions roadmaps, and design and deliver high quality. Scalable and resilient business solutions.
- Work with a dedicated team to drive performance
- Helping Train members of the engineering teams when required.
Your skills and qualifications:
Essential:
- Successful Track Record of managing full Applications from requirement analysis, design, build and Installation within its Lifecycle
- Familiarity with the ITIL Framework
- Knowledge of one or more database Technologies (e.g. Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop)
- Tableau Server Admin 2019 (including Server Tableau Upgrades)
- Tableau Developments
- Proficient in writing advanced SQLs, experience with data science and machine learning tools and technologies.
Desirable:
- Experience in any of the following:
- Topology understanding
- IBM Cognos Analytics, Planning Analytics [Workspace and Excel]

You will have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills to work effectively with a influence stakeholders at all levels within the BAE Systems Business. Excellent problem-solving skills will also be key to success within this role.
