Builds, develops and supports LBGs systems and services whilst continually challenging, motivating, mentoring and supporting their team. Able to work within or lead cross-disciplinary teams, providing effective and efficient support for a comprehensive and complex, high customer focused function. Supports the group in the resolution of service related and management issues, ensuring appropriate technical prioritisation, whilst also providing contribution to strategic direction. Includes responsbility for supplier and risk portfolio management. This role accepts 24*7 responsibility for service availability, currency and performance. This is a leadership level role and will blend both technical expertise with great passion for developing people. Also team management tasks, including but not limited to, risk, supplier and resource management.Job Description

You'll provide support and project services to Trade Floor for unified communications based on IPC, Teams and Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) Systems. The role will primarily revolve around the support of voice systems and associated third party applications such as voicemail, unified messaging, voice recording etc. You'll need good IT and networking knowledge to support the role.
Expected to maintain awareness of the technology trends in this arena, together with a good working knowledge of existing and new products and applications. A good sense of urgency is required, together with the ability to quickly determine the scale and scope of an issue.
Ability to engage the right resource to assist in problem determination and resolve is also critical. Prepared to work weekends.
Your accountabilities will include;
Performing Daily Checks to report on infrastructure integrity.
Managing day-to-day incidents and voice problems globally.
Undertake configuration management work in accordance with the Change Management procedures.
Working on issues escalated from Tier-1 engineers.
Building solid working relationship with key customers and act as a key engineer.
Documenting and sharing processes and procedures with the team.
Highlighting potential problems and take a pro-active approach.
Manage communication and call logging with third parties and IPC/Cisco TAC.
Attaining and maintaining appropriate manufacturer accreditations/certifications as agreed with management.
About you;
Cisco career certifications CCNA minimum.
Risk Management experience.
Customer facing and able to understand technical issues while clearly and professionally communicating to stakeholders.
Trade Floor / Financial Markets experience.
Hardworking, flexible and enthusiastic, team player with a genuine interest in unified communication technologies and the benefits this technology brings.
Willing to work weekends, out of hours and be part of a 24/7 On-Call rota.
Essential Technologies needed;
IPC Unigy V4-V5
Cisco Call Manager 11.x +
Call Recording concepts, NICE NTR, Verint
Knowledge of Microsoft Telephony Solutions.
Internal & on-net Private Wires. (SIP PW’s, CAS, MRD, ARD)
Voice and Video network transport.
Basic networking knowledge Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies
SIP telephony solution design and troubleshooting
Desirable (Non-Essential Skills):
VMWare Virtualisation VSphere
Cisco CME, CUE, Unity Connection
Network Management – Infoblox
Application integration and software Development.
CRM Tool experience.
