Alcoa’s HR People Solutions Manager is a key leadership role that leads the frontline HR function to deliver upon our strategic pillar of service excellence through the provision of strategic and operational HR advice and services that drive performance outcomes of our plants in Australia. This position leads a team at our Bindjareb Corporate office in Pinjarra and will be primarily based there.
We are seeking a Senior Manager of HR Shared Services & Operations who can collaborate cross-functionally to ensure service delivery that optimises business results and contributes to a rich employee experience. This role is responsible for the development, execution and operation of an HR shared service strategy supporting the end-to-end life cycle of an employee at Alcoa. This role will drive initiatives to improve process, transform and digitalise, standardise delivery, and ensure best-in-class experience.
Responsibilities include:
Deliver high quality, timely customer service to the supported clients and against agreed targets in the respective service area (Employee Life Cycle, Talent, Global Mobility, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll and People Analytics).
Drive the people data management strategy and ensure controls and compliance to manage any operational, financial and reputational risks, ensuring that is delivered consistent with service level agreements.
Build a sustainable relationship with customers to ensure local satisfaction with service provided, working together with other People Services Teams globally, HR Centres of Expertise and HR Partners.
Challenge our clients to think differently in how HR can support the workforce of the future and agile enterprise.
Drive value creation for our clients using digital HR solutions, advising clients on their digital transformation road maps and having the ability to act as the conduit between technology teams and wider business functions.
About you
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
A deep expertise in delivering HR Service Delivery transformations, including but not limited to: delivery of HR services, SLAs/metrics framework, quality measures, driving continuous improvement agenda, process effectiveness and optimization, and vendor management.
Excellent understanding of latest trends, strategy and operations value levers, how the role of HR is changing, and the digital enablers required to add value to an organization and drive colleague experiences.
Experience of solving business problems that take advantage of the latest technology solutions to enable a digitally driven business model such as HR cloud solutions, best of breeds technologies, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Analytics - Familiarity with Workday system is a plus
Prior experience of building senior management relationships and being a trusted advisor to senior management with clear ability to influence others with Highly developed interpersonal, representation and communication skills
Experience in working with Global teams, leading, creating and sustaining a culture of high performance, collaboration and continual improvement
Demonstrated knowledge of Legislation, Policies and Practices relevant to contemporary human resources management in Australia
