This current opportunity is for a suitably qualified and experienced Engineer to join our maintenance and reliability (M&R) team as the Senior Asset Integrity Engineer based at our Mining Hub in Pinjarra.
Reporting directly to the WA Mining M&R Manager you will play an integral role in leading the asset integrity program across our Huntly and Willowdale mining operations. A thorough knowledge of engineering principles and strategy is sought, in addition to providing specialist asset integrity engineering knowledge and experience to achieve:
Governance and control of asset integrity assessment management for WA Mining Operations
Develop and lead local processes to manage asset integrity risks and corrective actions
Develop local strategies based on applicable engineering and statutory standards to define inspection and maintenance requirements
Develop annual and long-term remediation plan for the critical asset integrity discipline such as civil and structural infrastructure
All of this is offered on a Monday through Friday roster, with the added flexibility of a leisure day every four-week period.
About you
To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
Previous experience in maintenance, reliability or plant engineering will be highly regarded, as will be experience in asset integrity programs for heavy process industries
A strong understanding and application of Environmental Health & Safety leadership and management
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
Influential leadership skills with an effective approach to change management, encouraging and championing a workforce that is diverse and inclusive
A proactive, continuous improvement approach, and an ability to seek out new initiatives.
