Working at Atlassian
Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Assuming you have eligible working rights and a sufficient time zone overlap with your team, you can choose to work remotely or return to an office as they reopen (unless it’s necessary for your role to be performed in the office). Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
If you love working with new systems, technologies and working with multiple teams across an organization, then Atlassian has a superb opportunity for you. As a Workplace Technology Asset Manager, you will be responsible for the lifecycle of ~11,000 devices globally. You will regularly liaise with Technical Support Team Leads, with a focus on data accuracy and consistency across regions, making asset information accessible when and where it is needed.
More about you
We love people with a healthy balance of technical ability and a passion for customer service. You are analytical and have a background in IT and are familiar with the asset/inventory management systems and hardware used in corporate IT environments. You don't take things at face value because 'that's the way they are done', but rather seek to understand the reasons and then take steps to improve. You have an eye for process improvement, attention to detail and love brainstorming new ideas and solutions for continuous improvement.
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- Previous experience within an Asset Management Role (at least 12 months)
- ITIL v3 or 4 certified
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in vendor relationship management
- Familiarity/experience with Asset/CI management systems
- Familiarity with Fixed Asset Registers and finance/tax terminologies used in the process
- Experience with onboarding and offboarding of customers in a remote/WFH environment
It is great, but not required, if you have experience with:
- Experience with Atlassian software (JIra Service Management, Insight)
- Experience with Apple Business Manager
- Experience with various MDM solutions such as Jamf or Workspace One
- Experience working with a globally distributed team
- Experience in the Integration of two SaaS systems (such as integrating Jamf and Insight together)
