Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
This is a remote position that requires you to be based in the United States.
Your future team
The Trust Engagement team is a globally distributed team of risk professionals that help our customers perform risk assessments that they require to trust our company.
We are a focused group committed to protecting the security of our customers and their data. We value diverse thinking and creativity, so we can support each other and do interesting things. You will work with the whole Atlassian team to improve our Trust Program and story.
As a Senior Principal Trust Analyst reporting to the Head of Trust Engagement, you will drive the growth and expansion of how we promote customer trust.
You will
- Partner with our security, privacy, reliability and compliance teams to make Atlassian more trustworthy;
- Represent Atlassian with our enterprise customers to remove trust as a blocker for customer acquisition, customer migration, and long-term customer retention
- Mentor a team through technical leadership
- Identify deal blockers and influence strategy for supporting a global enterprise customer-base
- Participate in tech industry discussions by publishing publicly facing materials, presentations, white papers, websites, and reports
- Lead the team’s relationships with Trust & Security, Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Operational and SRE teams, internal IT, and Field Operations and Go-To-Market Teams working to improve Trust & Security practices, broad changes to our internal processes, product features, and customer engagement. You will boost our customers' confidence in an online world - a challenging area still with many unsolved opportunities for innovation.
Your background
- 15+ years experience working in enterprise Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance domain areas
- Expertise to guide discussions about security and risk trade-offs
- Customer-facing or consulting engagement experience
- Success with customer, executive, or board member briefings on strategy
- It's phenomenal, but not required, if you have:
- Experience working with Regulatory Compliance, Global Privacy Programs, Cloud Security or related functions
- Experience participating in customer-facing incident response functions
- Experience in a large-scale cloud business
- Experience operating on a globally distributed team
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $230,900 - $307,800

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
