Job Summary

We're hiring for a Sr. Psychometrician to help maintain the high-stakes technical Certifications for the Atlassian Certification Program. In this role, you will collaborate across the Atlassian Community & Learning team on varied projects that further the team’s vision to improve product adoption and provide tangible value and career advancement to our learners. You will support all psychometric aspects of exam development, including job analyses, standard setting, item and test analysis, optimal item bank design, and project management.

Your background

• 5+ years of experience developing high-stakes certification programs, experience within the tech industry is a plus.

• 5+ years of experience conducting item and exam analysis using both classical test theory and item response theory.

• 5+ years experience in quantitative measurement and statistics.

• You hold deep expertise and experience in data-driven decision-making and are comfortable using different forms of analytical, testing & item bank software.

• You have experience in retaining pools of subject matter experts.

• You thrive in collaborative, fast-paced, environments and are innovative, creative, and like to experiment.

• You have experience in stakeholder management, are a strong collaborator, and are skilled in project management.

Nice to Haves:
Atlassian Product Experience
Experience working in scrum
Experience with different exam designs, delivery (LOFT/CAT), and security
Degree in Adult Education, testing, or Psychometrics. PhD Preferred.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $121,800 - $162,400

Zone B: $109,700 - $146,200

Zone C: $101,100 - $134,800

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
