In this highly visible and strategic role, your gravitas, business acumen, program management experience and transformation delivery expertise and skills will help us to accelerate momentum, adoption and ease the growing pains of a highly successful and unique technology services business. 

As Business Transformation Program Manager, not only will you be a pivotal part of an existing high performing team, but will also directly interact with the most senior levels of leadership within Avanade multiple times a week.

This role will actively support the Business Strategy Transformation and will be an opportunity to build your Avanade network across all Areas, Regions and Functions, particularly with leadership.

You will be responsible for planning, mobilization, execution, integration, and successful closure of project workstreams. During the project life cycle, you will communicate status with regular frequency, manage risks and will issue and monitor performance according to in place agreements made between internal stakeholders.

Key to your success will be ensuring successful delivery of projects as measured by schedule, internal customer satisfaction and deliverable quality performance measures.

Day-to-day you will:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a detailed project work plan, including appropriate controls, governance structures and monitoring to ensure on-time and quality outcomes
  • Ensure accurate development and traceability of benefits and requirements during project lifecycle
  • Manage issues and risks associated with the project integration, including balancing scope, schedule, quality, and risks
  • Ensure integration with the Workstream teams, change enablement, Transition and Operating Model Designers throughout project duration
  • Support the Transformation Executive in determining the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule

Technical skills and knowledge:
  • Demonstrated ability to think and work systematically and logically
  • Demonstrated understanding of key Project/Program Management disciplines (estimating, work planning, contract management, scope management, user acceptance, etc.)
  • Experience in customer expectations management
  • Demonstrated experience employing project management methods, tools, techniques- Working knowledge of Microsoft platform technologies- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft project and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
  • Good knowledge of Earned Value reporting

  • Clear and concise oral and written communication

  • Good internal client interface and presentation skills
  • Good business acumen and time management skills
  • Internal customer-oriented attitude and good interpersonal skills
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) PMP certification preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications and Experience   
This is a senior role, requiring the gravitas and judgement that comes with extensive experience in a fast - moving transformation environment. Suitably qualified to degree level and with a strong record of accomplishment in strategic business transformation and large - scale program management, you will be able to tell us how others have benefitted from your:

  • Demonstrable insight and experience in interacting with all levels of the business
  • Marketing mindset and delivery precision  
  • Leadership, energy and enthusiasm in the field of transformational change

  • A clearly demonstrable track record of delivering complex programs of change using a blend of program methodologies and exemplary stakeholder engagement
