Avanade is seeking a candidate with exceptional analytical and communication skills, who is a team-player with a collaborative mindset and is passionate about driving change and automation in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in shaping and guiding our organization through a connected planning journey. This position will initially focus on FP&A but quickly pivot to include planning processes across the enterprise. In addition to influencing our roadmap, you will be instrumental in building a best-in-class global COE capability and collaborating with cross functional stakeholders. In this position, you will be responsible for working directly with business customers to understand their evolving needs and creating processes and solutions to meet them.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Own the solution design of our Anaplan model landscape. You will ensure the overall capability is optimized for space constraints, speed, maintainability, and user satisfaction
- Develop and maintain high performance and scalable Anaplan model architecture by leading solution definition, solution architecture reviews, and model design
- Ensure Anaplan solution fits into the existing enterprise architecture from the technical, business, and user perspectives
- Provide insight into new product functionality and release schedule
- Review models and provides recommendations on how to make models more efficient
- Guide model builders to leverage established best practices to build, test, and deploy models in a scalable and effective manner
- Lead solution development and support model builders throughout build
- Lead daily scrum calls and track requirement completion based on communicated timelines
- Serve as escalation point for production support

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Finance, Business Management, or comparable (preferred)
- 5+ years of professional experience with a multinational corporation and/or a professional services firm focusing on technology, enterprise performance management, business solutions, FP&A and/or digital enablement
- 2+ years of planning system experience (Anaplan preferred)
- Experience leading teams and managing collaboration across geographies
- Savvy analytic and problem-solving skills
- Technology & Experience Design Skills
- Strong networking skills
- Experience identifying and resolving issues independently (e.g., troubleshooting)
- Possess a customer service orientation with a demonstrated desire to exceed expectations
- Consistent delivery and follow through on commitments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - MS Excel, MS Access, MS SharePoint
- Great organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to effectively communicate information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Required Technical & Business Skill Set
- Anaplan Solution Architect Certification
- Master Anaplanner Certification (Preferred)
- Financial Planning & Analysis experience (strongly preferred)
- Deep understanding of data architecture and integration across platforms
- Working knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile)
- Experience in business analysis and requirements gathering and management
- Knowledge of Social Collaboration tools
- Demonstrated ability to think and work systematically and logically
- Clear and concise oral and written communication

Colorado: $124,950 - $147,000
California: $138,550 - $180,000
Washington: $144,500 - $170,000
