Role Overview:

As a Director, Avanade Client Account Lead (ACAL) you are a sales leader responsible for the curation of our client's experience with Avanade. You will be accountable for maintaining relationship with one or more of our Most Valued Client (MVC) accounts while focusing on overall account strategy and growth.An Avanade ACAL will normally lead one (1) or more of these large MVC accounts

To best grow & transform our clients’ business, you will have a natural alignment with Accenture and a deep spike of vertical knowledge in one or more areas Accenture & Avanade calls “Financial Services" which includes Banking, Insurance, Capital Markets & Wealth Management"

ACAL Key Role Responsibilities Day-to-day:

Account Leadership

  • Formulate clear strategy for account (beyond responding to RFP). LEAD the client to new ideas
  • Help client develop Technology vision & strategy
  • Own account strategy & multi-year account plan
  • Look across account for cross Solution Area opportunities
  • Leverage References and thought leadership in industry and Area
  • Push continuous innovation through thought leadership
  • Conduct Design Thinking workshops to understand client’s business Objectives, Opportunities & Pain points

Account Management

  • Create a combined Relationship Map and Power Map
  • Establish Governance/ routine with client and Power Map for Avanade
  • Advertise full Avanade capabilities, leverage stakeholders as our ambassadors
  • Manage account financials and operations
  • Steer Quarterly business reviews & "Board of Directors" review quarterly OR P2P review
  • Curate the client's experience with Avanade
  • Conduct Stakeholder Interviews/Understand Success Criteria
  • Cultivate alliance relationships (MSFT and others)
  • Develop junior talent and drive employee experience through mentorship and coaching

Sales (Proposals)

  • Own strategy & proposal, bring forward breadth of Avanade
  • Assemble pursuits team
  • Develop customized proposals and business case, driving exceptional client experience
  • Bid review and signoff, validate messaging, ensure alignment to overall account strategy, price to win

Compensation for roles at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, and Washington as set forth below and  information on benefits offered is here.   Salary range for this role is 213,000 - 251,000.
