About the Role
This position presents an exceptional opportunity to develop a career in People and Culture with the Bank of Queensland working within our Organisational Development team! The Capability Officer will support the broader team in the delivery of a superior learning experience and be the first line of response for learning queries from our people.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide learning advice and support to BOQ Leaders and team members by responding to emails in the P&C Inbox and phone calls from the help line
- Administer the learning management system, including the set-up and maintenance of learning pathways and learning courses
- Lead the design, build and implementation of "logistics" in group learning initiatives
- Review and update group capability policies and processes
- Trouble-shoot and resolve escalated issues from the People Operations team (and/or refer to COE’s/BP’s)
- Complete data entry of training attendance, collation of program feedback and ad hoc reporting as required
- Identify trends in queries provide recommendations to the Capability team, P&C BP's and COE’s
About you
This position will suit an individual who is seeking to develop their career in Human Resources with a particular interest in organisational development.
Suitable candidate will possess:
- Demonstrated experience providing professional administration support in a busy People and Culture team
- Strong customer focus and stakeholder management ability
- Exposure to the design, build and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience working within a learning management system
- Demonstrated growth mindset and alignment to the BOQ purpose and values
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with a high level of initiative and self-motivation.
