The Superannuation and Funds business is responsible for and the proud issuer of a public offer retail superannuation fund and several managed investment schemes. The business includes the operations of two wholly owned subsidiaries of the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Group (Bendigo Super P/L and Sandhurst Trustees Limited). As a super fund trustee Bendigo Super P/L is responsible for the effective and compliant operation of Bendigo SmartStart Super while ensuring member outcomes are at a high level.
About the role
As Regulatory Reporting Manager and reporting to the Head of Superannuation and Funds, your focus is to ensure all regulatory reporting activities including statistical analysis, financial information, investment data and demographic information is delivered to meet reporting standards and regulations.
You will engage with multiple stakeholders including regulators and will be responsible for designing robust operational processes and frameworks. The role is critical to ensuring sustainability of the business and continuing positive relationships with regulators.
Key accountabilities include:
- Leading the management and ongoing development of the regulatory reporting framework for the business which ensures compliance to all prudential standards is met.
- Leading key reporting projects including periodic activity.
- Keeping abreast of actions required in relation to any regulatory reporting changes and communication updates from the Regulator
About you
To be successful you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Accounting or Investments preferred
- Sound understanding and experience of wealth products including superannuation and managed funds
- Knowledge of legislative, regulatory and reporting requirements pertaining to wealth products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret data and to ensure compliance with statuary requirements
- Strong time management with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
