About the role
Our Kwinana Grain Terminal has an exciting opening for a Grain Handler. This role is responsible for ensuring grain is received, stored, loaded, and moved in a safe, efficient, and effective manner.
At the Terminal we are responsible for the exporting of WA Grain to international destinations.
As an integral member of our team, we’ll expect you to have the ability to work in a physically challenging work environment and will be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
This role has the potential for development! We will train and mentor you in the skills required to have a successful career with CBH Group and in Agribusiness.
A minimum of 6 hours per shift and maximum of 12 hours, you may be required to work days, nights or weekends.
Working alongside the team at Kwinana Terminal, the role includes:

Ensuring grain is received, handled and maintained within receival standards.

Ensuring grain loaded on export vessels is correct, free of contaminants and within specifications.

Maintaining a high standard of hygiene across the site.

Receiving instructions for the collection, preparation, testing and storage of grain samples; and
-
Maintaining a safe working area for all employees and customers.
