Systems Connect (an unincorporated Joint Venture between CPB Contractors and UGL Engineering) is delivering the Line-wide Works (LW Works) package Sydney Metro City & Southwest (SMCSW) project, which will extend Sydney Metro Northwest to the CBD and beyond to Bankstown. SMCSW being delivered through a suite of contracts for the tunnels, stations, line-wide infrastructure and systems.
The LW Works package is a key component of the SMCSW with works taking place over the full length of the Project area. The package includes:
- The fit out of the Sydney Metro City & Southwest tunnels and stations including provision of track, overhead wiring, HV reticulation, tunnel ventilation, fire services tunnel services
- Delivery of bulk power feeds to meet the Sydney Metro City & Southwest high voltage reticulation and traction power requirements
- Expansion of the Sydney Metro Trains Facility at Tallawong
- The delivery of a new train stabling and infrastructure maintenance facility at Sydenham
- The open northern dive works to tie Sydney Metro City & Southwest into the Sydney Metro Northwest at Chatswood
- Provision of HV reticulation and traction power for the Southwest corridor from Sydenham to Bankstown.
Your opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an Interface Engineer to join our team to support coordination across fire, life safety requirements, noise and manage a range of consultants.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Support the Interface Manager in organising, preparation and follow up for regular interface meetings
- Facilitate the development of interface documents and work with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate, coordinate and record technical design and construction workshops with Interface Contractors and consolidate review comments for issues.
- Track the closeout of review comments with interface contractors.
- Escalate critical issues onto the CIR as appropriate for escalation to the Interface Manager
- Perform activities in accordance with the Interface Management Plan
Our Minimum Requirements For This Role Are
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Experience in Project Management and Design Management practices
- Computer literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft® Office plus experince in oter Engineering design packages would be beneficial (Navisworks and BIM360)
- Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail

Proposed remunerations $75k - $85k (Base salary & Superannuation)
