Mobile App Operations Manager
We are looking for a motivated, data-driven Mobile App Operations Manager for our Marketing Operations team. You will be the app data subject matter expert, enhance the way we track conversions and installs, and improve customer journeys. This position works closely with the Mobile App Marketing team and App Product teams.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-growing environment with an international and diverse team. You will solve complex problems, use large amounts of data to drive insights, interact with a broad set of partners, and have the ability to influence decision-making. This role can be based in our office in either London, UK or Seattle, WA.
What you'll do:
Create data flow diagrams for the data available in Expedia’s apps, to understand what data is available, how it is used, and who the consumers are
Obtain app data capturing needs from stakeholders and work with technical teams to record required data points. Streamline data flows and remove redundant data or vendors
Increase the share of customers landing in our app, either by leveraging native app deep-linking solutions or deploying 3rd party deep-linking technology
Set up and maintain app install tracking so that downloads can be attributed back to the marketing channels that drove them
Oversee and continue to improve conversion tracking, attribution, and analyze KPIs
Strategic planning of App Operation’s deliverables and communication with stakeholders
Build, develop, and manage relationships with internal teams as well as vendors
You should demonstrate a strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a detail-driven mind-set
You should have a passion for ‘detective work’ and have strong problem-solving skills and ability to logically analyze complex processes and data sets and put solutions in place
You should be able to independently manage and prioritize your own workload on a daily basis
You should be able to work with other global teams to get the job done
Who you are:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in analytics, data, marketing, or business background or in the related field; or equivalent related professional experience
Several years of experience working with mobile apps campaigns or tracking
Ability to work at the planning level and at the tactical level
Intermediate SQL skills
Excellent MS Excel skills, and know your way around other MS Office products
Experience with marketing analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics or similar)
Experience with Mobile platforms such as Branch or Firebase are a plus
Excellent interpersonal skills and you work well within a team
A highly data driven and analytical mindset within their decision making
Highly detail-oriented and dependable
Positive attitude, and a genuine interest in working in a fast-moving environment and wearing multiple hats as needed

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $104,000 to $145,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $166,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
