Expedia for Business is seeking an exceptional, self-motivated, and project-focused individual to support the VP of Media Solutions Marketing and VP of Enterprise Solutions.
This exciting role requires attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills, and the ability to proactively jump in to take on tasks. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior level executives both inside and outside the company is critical. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete critical tasks and projects quickly, react with appropriate urgency, take effective action with requiring specific direction, and have a good sense of humor to keep it all in perspective. Experience in working with distributed teams, international time zones, and varying cultures is a plus.
Responsibilities for this position include the ability to partner with the executive team and other Executive Assistants to create a seamless support environment. This role requires someone who can think and plan ahead to handle multiple concurrent requests appropriately and manage time effectively.
What you'll do:
Work with business leaders and assistants throughout the company
Track and help drive completion of key deliverables
Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements
Fill in for other executive assistants when coverage is needed
International travel planning and expense reconciliation
Assist with ordering office supplies and catering
Plan and coordinate monthly team meetings and conferences
Prepare documents, reports, and other materials for staff and business meetings
Attend staff meetings, take and distribute minutes, and follow up on action items
Maintain files and records which often contain confidential information
Who you are:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant
Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Team and customer service orientation
Positive, proactive, and able to have fun at work
Bachelor's degree in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience
