Senior Manager, Mobile App Marketing
This is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing marketing organizations for Expedia Group in the evolving app marketing space. We partner closely with Google, Facebook, Apple, and Play Store to power app installs.
In this role you will own our global Organic App presence, strategy for discoverability and store conversion optimization within the mobile app marketing team. You will establish principles and long-term vision to lead the organic team with clear goals. You will be influencing various teams cross functionally including brand creative, customer engagement, engineering, and product to drive the channel success. You have ownership of Organic performance and communicating trends and drivers to senior leadership.
What you'll do:
Lead team of two and mentor their career development
Drive channel strategy cross functionally and influence senior leadership
Use your analytical expertise to size opportunities and interpret data to drive actions
Develop channel and testing roadmap, determine different phase milestones and priorities
Create playbooks and templates for Organic App best practices
Utilize understanding of key industry terminology, industry players, and key performance indicators to draw conclusions about trends
Monitor changes and updates to app store algorithms and new opportunities provided by operating system updates
Lead process improvements and identify opportunities for operation automation
Implement reporting and dashboards
Who you are:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or Statistics or any other related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience
6+ years of relevant experience in tech and highly analytical environment
ASO (keyword and store listing optimization, product page testing) or SEO knowledge
Familiarity with App Store/Google Play algorithm rules
Advanced analytical and statistical skills
SQL/ Tableau expertise - Python or R is a plus
Knowledge of mobile measurement and app analytics platforms such as Branch, Appsflyer, etc.
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Able to identify methods for collecting data, performing data analyses, articulating findings, and providing recommendations
Advance understanding of testing concepts and know how to design a test (draw hypothesis from data observation, test method, sampling, conclude results and learnings)
