Director, Diversity Sourcing
Expedia’s mission is to power global travel for everyone, everywhere. Likewise, our Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) team’s mission is to create a company that is for everyone, everywhere. Our purpose is to ensure Expedia reflects the diversity of our travelers and embodies the inclusive mindsets that make travel a force for good. We are fueled by a refusal to be fearful of failure. We strive to challenge ourselves, set bold goals, and test new ideas because it takes big thinking to create bigger change.
As the Director, Diversity Sourcing, you will play a pivotal role in opening up access to underrepresented talent and ensuring everyone is reflected in our brand. This role will lead and build our diversity sourcing strategy with a focus on underrepresented identities (Black, Latinx, and Indigenous talent). This role will have a dual focus:
1. Lead a dedicated team of Diversity Sourcing professionals to help make a difference with our Diversity Hiring Ambition outcomes.
2. Lead capability building efforts across EG by partnering with key stakeholders across our Talent Acquisition and Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) teams as well as the business to drive inclusive hiring practices, increase representation at the top of the funnel, and provide best-in-class candidate experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to help Expedia become a best place to work for all, while building opportunities into the Tech and Travel industries. We are looking for someone who is an excellent innovator and collaborator with expertise across Sourcing, Recruiting, I&D and people management. The ideal candidate loves to build programs, is a visionary thinker, can navigate ambiguity, and is results oriented.
Who you are:
You have a proven track record of building and executing a diversity sourcing and/or recruiting strategy with a focus on both operational hiring performance and capability building.
You have a deep understanding of best recruiting and sourcing practices as well as inclusive hiring practices.
You have experience managing teams and inspiring people through transformation.
You have exceptional business insight and project management skills; along with a bias for action and results orientation.
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
You bring a passion for diversity, equity, inclusion and driving impact.
10+ years of experience in sourcing, recruiting, I&D, or equivalent.
Intellectually curious and keen on continued learning – especially keeping up to date in the ever-changing field of sourcing.
Workday experience, a plus.

Plan and execute candidate mapping, outreach, and engagement exercises.
Be data-driven, analyze data and trends for course correction, influence stakeholders and build a robust sourcing engine.
